Professor uses underwater drone to study river reef on Monongahela River near Pittsburgh

Skip the sonar and snorkels.
Underwater drones could be the future of monitoring freshwater fisheries. David Argent, a PennWest California University fisheries and wildlife sciences professor, used a drone last year to evaluate aquatic life on the Monongahela River in the wake of a dam removal near Pittsburgh.
