Because I’ve lived relatively near the Little Juniata my entire life, and because I fished the river coursing through Pennsylvania’s Blair and Huntingdon counties so many times over the years, I’ve long been aware of what an awesome wild trout fishery it has become over the last 50 years.
Long, wide, scenic and almost entirely open to the public – and amazingly productive – it’s like no other wild trout stream I’m aware of in the state except the upper Delaware.
