From the arrival of summer a few short months ago, silent sport enthusiasts and high-powered motorboat owners have enjoyed Wisconsin lakes. As these activities wind down, the question is when do the rights of one group infringe on lake health and the enjoyment by others?
The unanswered question centers on wake boats. Since the expected legislation to restrict wake boat use wasn’t introduced at the state level, local governments have now stepped in to fill that void.
