A century of fishing in Illinois, part II: Regulation changes

Comparing the 1925 fishing regulations in Illinois with those in place today provides a glimpse into how fisheries science and management evolved over the years.
Early regulations were largely statewide and included seasonal closures and protection for younger, smaller individuals of many sport and commercial fish species.
