More than 1,984 athletes representing 157 high school teams from across the state recently competed in the New York State High School Clay Target League’s annual trap and skeet shooting state tournament, held June 6-8 in the Syracuse region.
Lansing High School’s varsity team was the top shooters in the state, posting a score of 468, while Tully Fratarcangelo of Corning-Painted Post High School’s score of 99 earned him the overall High Gun rank.
