I’m going to continue with a story I am calling “The Case of the Missing Turkeys.” I began my mysterious tale in the last issue of Illinois Outdoor News.
I had written about how I had discovered a rather large number of wild turkeys living in the suburb of Wheaton. The birds seemed to be using Cantigny Park’s beautiful acreage as their home base. I had seen many birds in the park and in the areas close by.
