Construction projects totaling nearly $5 million were unanimously approved last Thursday by the Iowa Natural Resources Commission.
The largest outlay, $3,156,025, was awarded to the Three Mile Lake project for work to improve water quality and provide fish habitat. JNC Construction, LLC of Clearfield, Iowa, was the successful bidder among eight applicants. Work is to be completed by early 2025 on the lake, located in Union County in southwest Iowa.
