Follow-up round of tests find no sign of Asian carp in Pennsylvania’s Presque Isle Bay

A silver carp, shown here, can weigh between 20-40 pounds and is known for its ability to leap high out of water.

A follow-up round of water sampling in Presque Isle Bay in Erie County did not reveal any evidence of environmental DNA – often referred to as eDNA – of silver carp or bighead carp.
