Foraging goes back for as long as man has inhabited the earth. I’m a forager of sorts and I’ve searched for, identified, and collected food growing wild in our woods, fields, meadows, and even in my own back yard.
I’ve collected and eaten everything from mushrooms and berries to nuts, seeds, greens, roots, and seaweed. Ok, the seaweed I bought at our local grocery store but everything else I’ve collected by searching for it.
