New York waters of Lake Erie delivers both walleyes and inclement weather at Sunset Bay Walleye Shootout

The team of “One More ‘Eye” had all the fish they needed in the allotted amount of tournament time to win the 16th Annual Sunset Bay Walleye Shootout on Lake Erie July 19.
After the final fish was weighed in, it was Laverne Anderson, of Frewsburg, and Paul Blackowski, of Hamburg teaming up to weigh in 35.35 pounds of walleyes for six fish to win $20,000 in the main event on Sunday after action was canceled on Saturday due to inclement weather.
