Back in April and May every angler was a hero in Minnesota’s driftless area.
The water temperature was perfect. No weeds to walk through. Hatches were abundant. Caddis were so thick and the fish so hungry that even an obnoxious Tasmanian Devil could bring numerous fish to the net. Things are different in late summer.
