Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will require monitoring for PFAS in biosolids

Shortly after Pennsylvania Rep. Brenda Pugh, R-Luzerne County, took office last year, she introduced two bills aimed at addressing concerns about forever chemicals in biosolids.
Neither bill has yet to come up for a vote, but the intent behind them recently became a reality in early July.
