St. Augusta, Minn. – PleasureLand RV is celebrating 55 years of helping families create lifelong memories with a company-wide Customer Appreciation and 55th Anniversary Celebration.

Founded in 1971 by Vern and Beatrice Pearson with just a handful of Winnebago motorhomes, PleasureLand RV has grown from a small family business into one of the Midwest’s largest RV dealership groups. Today, the company operates 11 locations across Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, representing many of the industry’s leading RV manufacturers while remaining true to the family values on which it was built.

The business was later led by Dan Pearson, whose passion for the RV lifestyle and commitment to customer service helped shape PleasureLand RV into the company it is today. Now, as a third-generation family-owned business, PleasureLand RV continues to build on that legacy by helping families experience the freedom and adventure of the open road.

“Reaching 55 years in business is an incredible milestone, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our customers, employees, manufacturing partners, and the communities we’ve been privileged to serve,” said Brad Bacon, President and CEO of PleasureLand RV. “This celebration is our opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. While we’re proud of 55 years in business, we’re equally proud of the incredible team members who have made it possible. The collective experience, dedication, and passion of our employees are what continue to set PleasureLand RV apart.”

Across all 11 locations, PleasureLand RV’s employees represent more than 1,950 combined years of RV industry experience, providing customers with knowledge, expertise, and service. From sales and service to parts, rentals, finance, and customer support, that collective experience has helped build the trust and relationships that have defined PleasureLand RV for more than five decades. As the company celebrates its past, it also looks forward to continuing that tradition for generations to come.

Celebration sale and event

To commemorate the milestone, PleasureLand RV will host a Customer Appreciation and 55th Anniversary Sale beginning Thursday, July 23, at all 11 dealership locations. Customers will find exceptional savings throughout the event, including 55 specially selected RVs priced below invoice cost, along with hundreds of additional sale units and exclusive anniversary promotions.

The celebration will culminate with a free community event on Saturday, August 1, at PleasureLand RV’s St. Augusta, Minn., location along Interstate 94.

The afternoon and evening celebration will feature:

  • Live music beginning at 1:00 p.m.
  • DiamondBack and Ember performing throughout the afternoon
  • Mason Dixon Line taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. to close out the evening
  • Food trucks
  • Bounce houses and family activities
  • Camping opportunities for guests wishing to stay overnight

The event is open to the public and free for everyone to attend.

The event is PleasureLand RV’s way of saying thank you to the customers, employees, manufacturing partners, and communities that have supported the company throughout its 55-year journey.
