New Wisconsin sporting goods retailer opens in Manawa

Small-town sportsmen in Wisconsin’s Waupaca County won’t have to travel far for gear and bait now that Rick Zemple has opened Little Wolf River Outfitters in downtown Manawa.
There was a time not too long ago when fishermen, trappers and hunters could head to their local sporting goods store to pick up a dozen minnows, a box of ammunition or trap lure. If a town had a body of water, chances are there was a store catering to sportsmen.
