Pennsylvania’s feathered angler – the great blue heron – is thriving

State College, Pa. — As reported by the Audubon Society, many bird species are in serious decline. One species that actually has increased in numbers during the past 25 years is a large bird that many fishermen are quite familiar with – the great blue heron.
