The innovative FishPass project on the Boardman-Ottaway River is entering its final phase of construction, bringing a decades-long vision for fish passage and invasive species control one step closer to reality.
Project leaders say in-river construction work is expected to be completed within the next several weeks. Once finished, attention will shift to developing public amenities and educational facilities at the site near downtown Traverse City.
