Teresa Phillips came across a box turtle.

Teresa Phillips was hunting morel mushrooms in a local woodland when she came across an Eastern box turtle hiding in the leaves. These handsome, high-domed turtles are known to be energetic walkers, moving, head up, as far as 150 feet a day.
