Twenty-four Cannon River enthusiasts voiced their opinions at a public information meeting Monday night at the Waterville Events Center in southern Minnesota.
The topic focused on a dam-modification project designed to open several river miles to promote fish passage and improve public safety. The 90-minute meeting allowed attendees to ask questions and view preliminary designs about the so-called Cannon Fish Passage Project.
