Outdoor ‘endorsement’ moves in Minnesota Senate but stalls in state House

Colorado and Michigan have adopted similar outdoor recreation endorsements and reported increased participation in outdoor recreation on state lands. (Minnesota DNR photo)

The ORE is part of the DNR’s “4 The Outdoors” funding initiative, which officials have developed over the past five years. The proposal would allow residents to purchase a state park vehicle permit when they renew their vehicle registration.
