The diversity of tasks and responsibilities fielded by Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources wardens, often in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are huge in large Wisconsin cities.
Adam Strehlow, Erik Anderson, and Logan Allen, all DNR wardens in Milwaukee County, found themselves working with Milwaukee Police Department officers on a cold winter night in an attempt to save a Green Bay man, 52, who ended up in the Menomonee River on Feb. 28.
