Readers learned in the last issue that my Ducks Unlimited Conservation Programs Committee met at Jekyll Island, Georgia, for a field trip. When the meetings and the field trip were over, some of us stayed on an extra day to fish. When planning this, we did not anticipate a cold snap in Georgia that would take temperatures into the low 40s.
