It is hard to be enthusiastic about a morning in the spring gobbler woods when the rain is pounding off the truck roof so hard that you cannot carry on a conversation with your hunting partner.
We cannot control the weather, and we have only so much time in the spring woods to tag a gobbler, so it is a simple matter of learning how to adapt or go home.
