Lure companies try every year to create a new profile that fish haven’t seen.

For 2026, some new plastics for bass look like a COVID molecule with several creepy “legs.” Other companies are polishing up their swim baits that look ultra lifelike or jig heads that are able to be “seen” better by forward-facing sonar.

In any case, anglers now have access to amazing baits to catch more, and bigger, fish.

Berkley

The Berkley Rawler is available in bladed and non-bladed versions, giving anglers flexibility depending on conditions and water clarity.

The bladed model adds vibration and flash for stained water or aggressive fish, while the standard version provides a more subtle presentation when fish are less active. Tommy Kemos, one of the most decorated walleye anglers in the game, helped design the lure profile. The lure is one of a kind that offers a simple, no-tangle “slow death style” castable slow-turn crawler presentation, that is also optimized for use with forward-facing sonar.

An all-new Fusion19 helical hook rigs with a collapsible fluoro-pronged bait keeper holds crawlers firm while an integrated, ultra-compact stainless-steel ball-bearing swivel slips through the water.

Hammered Live Series Jerk.
Kalin’s

Kalin’s offers two distinct presentations with the Hammered Live Series Jerk and the Worm Walker Spoon.

The Hammered Jerk features a realistic baitfish profile designed for jigging or slow swimming presentations. The Worm Walker Spoon adds flash and vibration, helping attract fish in stained water or low-light conditions. Together they give anglers different tools for covering water and presenting both subtle and flashy options when targeting active fish.
