New York DEC, partners conclude spruce grouse trans-location program

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation recently announced the culmination of a multiyear, international effort to restore and stabilize the endangered spruce grouse population. The milestone is marked following the conclusion of spruce grouse translocations into the Adirondacks in 2025.
