Fate of a Lake Michigan fishing haven in question in Illinois

Anglers, charter boat captains, boaters, and village officials are left scrambling for a solution to avoid “significant” negative impacts after the operator of the North Point Marina in Winthrop Harbor ended its contract.
Illinois DNR’s failure to issue a timely Request for Proposal to the site operator is being blamed.
