While some folks are counting the days until Christmas, others will be counting warblers, wrens and other winged critters as Audubon’s annual Christmas Bird Count gets underway.
As the world’s longest-running community science project, the avian census has been providing ornithologists with valuable data about bird species and numbers for 126 years.
