Mike Schoonveld: Old doesn’t always mean big when it comes to lake trout

Have you ever caught a big ol’ fish? Probably not.
I fish a lot and I’ve caught several exceptional specimens. They might have been big, but they probably weren’t remarkably old. Big and old don’t necessarily go hand-in-hand when it comes to fish.
