Go crazy for this colorful sunfish — the pumpkinseed

You know how kids go crazy – nice crazy – when they catch a fish. Well, let them catch a pumpkinseed sunfish and that crazy will rival the Fourth of July fireworks we recently enjoyed.
Pumpkinseeds are like a bottle rocket, flaming sparkle and roman candle all wrapped up in one. Brilliant colors explode across their face and flanks – in a nice way – and there is even a bolt of reddish orange at the tip of their gill flaps.
