Pennsylvania Game Commission has big plans for its new Pymatuning center

The new Pymatuning Wildlife Learning Center will encompass 9,000 square feet and is expected to open in the spring of 2027. (Graphic provided by Pennsylvania Game Commission)

Pymatuning is home to the largest reservoir and one of the biggest state parks in Pennsylvania, and the Game Commission is making a big investment to put its footprint back in the area.
Last month the agency broke ground for the new Pymatuning Wildlife Learning Center, an $8.8 million facility encompassing 9,000 square feet dedicated to education. A grand opening is planned for spring of 2027.
