Tracks suggest there may have been three cougar kittens born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

There may have been three cougar kittens born to a female mountain lion in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula instead of two, according to hunter and trapper Derrick Guzek from Ontonagon. Guzek photographed one of the kittens and spent time tracking them and their mom in the snow 24 hours after photographing the kitten.
“I was at my buddy’s house after plowing his driveway when he said, ‘Maybe you can get a picture of that bobcat,’ after seeing a cat walking in his driveway through a window,” Guzek said.
