Crab Lake in Wisconsin’s Vilas County recognized as one of state’s most picturesque lakes

Fishermen familiar with Vilas County’s Crab Lake often call it the most beautiful lake in Wisconsin. They’ll also acknowledge that Crab can be one difficult beast to fish – primarily because of its extremely clear water.
All boaters should travel across Crab using caution until they learn the lake because of the numerous shallow rock bars and humps.
