In some ways, Lake Lucerne is like hundreds of other lakes in northern Wisconsin, with scenic shorelines dotted with cottages and resorts. A public landing in the southeast corner may entice anglers to launch boats and drop a line, but a forage issue is suspected as a main reason for the lake’s less-than-spectacular fishery.
