Episode 510 – Minnesota pheasant opener review, fall fishing, waterfowl status, Iowa headlines

Managing Editor Rob Drieslein and Editor Tim Spielman review the (mostly slow) 2024 ring-necked pheasant hunting opener from last Saturday, Oct. 12. Switching gears, old buddy Rob Kimm joins the program to offer some fall muskie and walleye fishing tips. Then Dr. Mike Brasher from Ducks Unlimited in Memphis spends a segment offering updates on the status of duck populations and the 2024 waterfowl migration thus far. Tim Lesmeister helps Drieslein wrap up the program with a couple of Iowa headlines, including a preview for that state’s Oct. 26 pheasant opener and paddlefish stocking in West Lake Okoboji, just south of the Minnesota border.
