“It is 47.5 inches long. It is the biggest one I ever caught,” exclaimed the young man. “But I am going to tell everyone that it was 48 inches.” He laughed.
“I am going to tell everyone you are exaggerating,” I said, also laughing.
We were visiting our friends Tom and Kris Dew, whom you have met in many earlier columns. They have a lovely log home on a beautiful lake in the Hayward, Wis., area.
