Knee Deep team wins New York’s Sunset Bay Walleye Shootout on Lake Erie

The 14th annual Sunset Bay Walleye Shootout was held July 19-20 on Lake Erie as 148 teams battled it out for over $500,000 in cash and prizes. When the final weigh in took place late Saturday afternoon, it was the “Knee Deep” team led by Don Skellie, of Fredonia, walking away with nearly $48,000 in cash with a total weight of 40.14 pounds for six fish.
