With spring largemouths, water temperature can dictate the bite throughout the day

Hardcore fishermen want to be at the boat ramp at sunrise to hit the water before the masses even wake up. This is a good strategy throughout the summer, when recreational boaters take advantage of banker’s hours to water ski, ride personal watercraft, and just enjoy some sun.
When that happens, the best fishing often occurs during the first few hours of the day. Right now, however, you might want to sleep in and fish the middle of the day if you want to catch some largemouth bass.
