June is a month to celebrate, and each day of the month has been set aside for several different celebrations. The honors begin on June 1 with Oscar the Grouch Day and Global Running Day, among others, and go right through the month to June 30, which is National Handshake Day and National Corvette Day. I kid you not.
To me, June, however, is Black Bass Month. One thing special about June is that it contains the longest days of the year. That means fishing for hours after an early dinner.
