WI Daily Update: Elk harvest quotas set, apply for a license by May 31

Wisconsin residents must apply for once-in-a-lifetime elk hunts by May 31, 2024. If selected in the drawing, an elk hunting license costs $49. Winners will be notified by early June. (Stock photo)

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources presented the elk harvest quotas for the Black River Elk Zone and Clam Lake Elk Zone to the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board. Here’s what to know.
