An erosion control and habitat improvement project in a city park in Waupaca is a win-win for trout and anglers.
Work began in Brainard’s Bridge Park in March and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) wrapped the project up in May.
Kyle Kossel, a habitat technician based at the DNR’s Shawano office, oversaw the project. A highlight of the park are bridges that provide access to a pair of islands.
