Chesapeake Bay making progress on pollution goals

Since 2010, the federal government, the six bay watershed states and the District of Columbia have been working to meet the Chesapeake Clean Water Blueprint’s 2025 deadline. (Stock photo)

The Chesapeake Bay Program announced new results in early May, derived from its watershed model, that estimate jurisdictions in the Chesapeake Bay watershed have made progress toward meeting their 2025 pollution reduction goals.
