Lewis Posekany, Walter Bresette inducted into Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame

The late Lewis Posekany, retired Wisconsin DNR water resources specialist, and the late Walter Bresette, of Red Cliff, will be inducted into the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame April 17.
Posekany was an environmental advocate long before that term came into existence. He had a wealth of knowledge of water law and Wisconsin’s Public Trust Doctrine and used it to stand up for lakes, waters, and streams.
