Citizens challenge Wisconsin DNR’s resource protection efforts

Cody Kamrowski, new executive director of the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation (WWF), is concerned that the proposed Solar Vista Sands Project near Plover will impact the threatened greater prairie chicken.

Four citizens told the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) that the DNR needs to step up to the plate and take an active role in its resource protection responsibilities.
The comments came during the citizen portion of the board’s Feb. 28 meeting.
