A three-hour drive may seem like a substantial trek for some. For us two young fly-fishermen, it is an easily feasible day trip.
Time flies by when you are daydreaming of a small mountain stream and the almost mythically colored 6-inch apex predators that inhabit those streams. As we drove southbound on New York Route 17 we looked down to see numerous drift boats drifting down the Delaware River, like mayflies bobbing down a tiny stream.
