Minnesota DNR details plans for Get Out MORE funds

The Minnesota DNR hosted a Get Out MORE session during its 2024 DNR Roundtable on Jan. 19. The session looked into the details of where the funding was going in five different categories. The Minnesota DNR explained the investments in the Get Out MORE initiative during the 2024 DNR Roundtable on Jan. 19. The breakdown gives a better understanding of how much money is going to which projects to benefit Minnesotans.
The DNR received $149.9 million from Gov. Tim Walz’s One Minnesota Budget during the 2023 Minnesota legislative session. Get Out MORE was created to focus funding toward modernizing outdoor recreation experiences.
