A seasonal mystery it is, saugeyes in the fall. Finding them can be as bad or worse than summer saugeyes, a most difficult feat for me. Perseverance to stay with it can be tough; it can take all day. Other species hitting the line with ease make for a tempting distraction.
I am learning the quirks needed for success in the fall, some obvious, some not so much. The learning never ends, probably why it is so much fun.
