Report says Wisconsin DNR management of Crex Meadows Wildlife Area not causing high water issues

Citizens living west of Crex Meadows Wildlife Area near Grantsburg, Wis., in Burnett County have often complained to the Natural Resources Board (NRB) about high water flooding their land, but a new report indicates that the high water is a natural phenomenon and not caused by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) management actions.
