If you’ve never made the run to Stannard Rock to fish for lake trout, you owe it to yourself to take the trip.
It’s a uniquely surreal experience because of its location and the pristine fishery that every angler should experience in his or her lifetime. The history of Stannard Rock alone makes it a one-in-a-million destination. If you can get there, the chances are good you’ll catch the biggest trout of your life.
