Ithaca, New York surrounded by outdoor attractions

When I think of the City of Ithaca, N.Y. in the Finger Lakes Region, it immediately drums up memories of great fishing, wine country, Cornell University, the former home of Ithaca Gun Company, some outstanding campgrounds, and numerous picturesque waterfalls. Despite the long list of outdoor attractions, I had never really spent any time in the city itself. Recently I had an opportunity to do just that, and I was pleasantly surprised at what this city had to offer.
