New fishing regulations in effect for Big Sandy, other Minnesota lakes

Special regulations on Big Sandy Lake and its connected waters in Aitkin County, Minn. include a daily limit of five for sunfish as well as a six-fish limit for walleyes between 14 and 18 inches with one allowed over 26 inches. (Stock photo)

The Minnesota DNR recently announced its list of water that will see new regulations come March 1. There are five special regulations and two experimental regulations that will apply at that time.
