Episode 422 – New CWD legislation, wild pigs invading from north?, and Pheasant Fest preview

 

New legislation addressing chronic wasting disease in Minnesota popped this past week, and Rob Drieslein and Tim Spielman from Outdoor News update listeners on what’s in the bill. Then Jared Wiklund from Pheasants Forever drops in to preview the 2023 Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic, scheduled Feb. 17-19 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Tim Lesmeister and Rob kick around several topics, including the CWD legislation, an Outdoor News story outlining whether feral pigs could invade Minnesota from Canada, and fishy issues like whether fishing closures for spawning fish are necessary and when and where electronics are best.
